Love the R&D and the tech side of this... but it totally takes the work (most of the fun) out of the hobby. I hate cleaning as much as anyone but a nice clean box in the corner for brewing beer just doesn't fit my concept of homebrewing.

Reminds me of the bread machines.  Something just isn't quite right with the bread out of them.

I also enjoy the process.

Or with the bread in them.

I said elsewhere that this is a RIMS with 1/4 capacity at 1/2 the price (and even less hands-on). I doubt they'll sell all that many to hard-core homebrewers or breweries, whether they think that's their market or not. I *do* think there will be a few of these on Craigslist.

The Process IS The Hobby!!!!!!  I don't know anyone that would like this product.....wait......maybe my Dad.  He is all about making beer as fast as he can.  Extract and and a single hop...boil for 20 minutes add cold water and dump in carboy with yeast.  He can make beer in 50 minutes.  Takes me 4 hours!!!!  I like the process!!!

I don't like how they repeat a couple times in the video that "There is no art in..." Well, there isn't much art in this contraption. I don't consider recipe formulation the only art of our craft. In fact that is about 5% of it. The rest is process.

I don't see these selling very well.
